TEDxBoston – Michelle Borkin – Astronomical Medicine

10

“You really never know where your next great idea is going to come from.” Michelle Borkin of Harvard University combines astronomy and medical imaging to advance both fields and proves that interdisciplinary collaboration helps people develop great ideas otherwise undiscovered . . . and save lives along the way. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

What we find irritating in other people will lead us to better understand about ourselves.

I really like her voice! It was quite relaxing and soothing. Sort of like an upbeat kindergarten teacher!
